| Arrays: We offer high content, Agilent pre-printed, catalog microarrays for gene expression analysisacross a wide range of genomes. If a commercial array is not available for your specific needs, or organism, we have considerable experience with custom design of microarrays. We have designed arrays for both prokaryote and eukaryote species.
RNA QA: We perform rigorous RNA sample quality assessment using the Agilent 2100 bioanalyzer and RNA LabChip Kits.
Labeling: We label cRNA or cDNA samples using Agilents labeling kits that have been optimized for Agilent DNA microarrays. MOgene has also developed high-efficiency labeling protocols for microbial RNA (i.e. with no polyA tails). We determine labeling efficiency using Agilents special set of protocols to maximize dynamic range.
Scanning: We scan all microarrays on Agilents Microarray Scanner with SureScan technology that provides added sensitivity and performance.
Feature Extraction: Feature extraction of all microarrays is performed using Agilents special software that reduces false positive and false negative results through unique background correction algorithms.
Data QA: We perform QC on each array to ensure that the data we provide is of high quality. We check for consistent background, mean signal and differential expression values.
Analysis: We can analyze microarray results with confidence using the Rosetta LuminatorTM gene expression data analysis system.
Sample tracking: To maintain confidence, reliability and confidentiality we use barcode tracking throughout the process: from RNA samples to microarray slides to final feature extracted spots and QC steps to analyzed results. |
